Black Beans with Brown Rice

SERVINGS 6-8
20 minutes

Did you see my recent feature on Fox 61? I had the best time speaking with Meal House about my healthy Black Beans and Brown Rice recipe. A great way to get away from typical sandwiches and lunch options, this Central American recipe is packed with fiber and protein, plus healthy fats from the avocado!. And it’s really easy!

Have a picky eater at home? Follow my daily rule and be consistent. Even the pickiest eater will eventually try healthy foods if you keep trying, planning, and exposing them to wholesome fruits, vegetables, and legumes.

Check out the recipe below to make it today!
